Regional College of Management - RCM Bhubaneswar the first management college in Orissa was established in 1982. The institute has been adjudged consistently as one of the top four B-Schools in Eastern India. It is rated among top 11 B-schools in the country with an A+ grade given by AIMA Business India Survey of best B-Schools.
Regional College of Management - RCM Bhubaneswar is the oldest management institute in the state of Orissa. This institute, since its inception, has developed immensely in all areas right from infrastructure to the quality of education. Of late, RCM has been scaling new heights. In 2002, Outlook ranked RCM as the 4th best in Eastern India after IIMC, XLRI and XIMB. The same magazine in its 2003 ranking of the business schools in Indian also places RCM as the 4th best in Eastern India. Another prestigious B-schools ranking done by Cosmode and Business world rates RCM as the 5th best in Eastern and Central India.
Regional College of Management - RCM Bhubaneswar has 46 full time faculty members, eight of whom are Ph. Ds. Three of the faculty members have joined the institute after a long stint in the industry where they held senior positions. 180 MBA students are admitted every year. The semester system has been replaced for the MBA stream by a trimester system. The curriculum is designed, keeping in mind what is taught in some of India’s best B-schools.

Individual students would be provided their own laptop through the institute subsidized scheme.
The classrooms of Regional College of Management - RCM Bhubaneswar are equipped with the latest teaching aids for interactive education, LCD Projectors are being used for teaching and digital presentations in class, OHP for slides and white boards for classrooms interaction. There are ten lecture halls each with a capacity of 60 students. Seminars are regular feature in the RCM Curriculum and taking place every week. One of the important infrastructure of Regional College of Management - RCM Bhubaneswar is the four storied ladies hostel and a single storied hostel inside the campus. This hostel has most of the ladies students from the college and in case of additional demand, accommodation is hired in the near by localities to provide hostel facilities for girls.
One of the unique features of the ladies hostel is attached marble bathroom to each room.During the current session 200 girl students have been provided with hostel facilities. A senior faculty member is in-charge of all the ladies hostel. Depending on the demands Regional College of Management - RCM Bhubaneswar provides excellent hostel facilities. Hostel is provided by hiring suitable buildings to students, who would like to avail such facilities. Currently 60 % of students are staying and studying in RCM hostels.
