The campus of Saveetha Engineering College – Chennai is spread over a scenic area of around 120 acres. Facing Chembarambakkam Lake on the Chennai- Bangalore National Highway (NH4). Located at about 8Km from Poona alee township. The college buildings are laid out amidst a serene environment. Circular Block which has a built up area of 2,20, 000 sq feet, houses Departments of CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, MBA & MCA, Administrative office, Library, Placement cell and Examination Cell. A seperate block with a built up area of 70,000sq feet houses the departments of Mechanical Engineering and Science & Humanities.

Hostels of Saveetha Engineering College – Chennai have two seperate hostels, one for women and the other for men. The hostels are located within the campus. All the needs of the inmates are given immediate attention so as to provide a homely atmosphere and a purposeful environment. Saveetha Engineering College – Chennai at present can accommodate 450 men students and 250 women students, with single rooms, double occupancy and dormitory type. A very unique feature of the hostel is that 50% of the rooms have been provided with baths equipped with individual geysers. All rooms have provisions to connect to the common Internet facility, and has plug INS for computers and telephones. The hostels have the following facilities:
