Hazrat Mirza Masroor is a Pakistani who was born on 15 September 1950 in Rabwah, Pakistan. He was elected as the fifth successor of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as the Caliph of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on 22 April 2003. He received his BA from Talim-ul-Islam College and received his Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan in 1976. He has served as the principal of Ahmadiyya Secondary School in Salaga, Ghana and manager of the Ahmadiyya Agricultural Farm in Depali, Ghana. He has also served as the Director of Education within the Community in Pakistan. Hazrat Mirza Masroor has also been involved in sending letters to World Leaders warning them of the destruction and ramifications of nuclear warfare.
