I purchased a Bexley rug 200 x 300 in your store in Cardiff (receipt available) on 27 December 2013, cost £245. The rug is situated in my lounge and is not exposed to heavy traffic. It has been hoovered with an upright machine using suction only. After only 15 months the tufts in the carpet are slowly loosening resulting in a scruffy appearance and in particular, on one edge of the carpet, adjacent to where it in bound, there are patches where the tufts have come out altogether exposing small areas of webbing. I would expect a quality carpet, at this cost from Laura Ashley to withstand normal wear, especially after only 15 months. I look forward to your reply.

As a member of staff who works part-time for the company, but also as a Service Manager for Santander I feel strongly enough to complain about the way in which a member of staff in the Laura Ashley shop in Newtown behaved towards me last Sunday 25.08.13. I think her name is Mary Jones and I have to say the way in which she spoke to me and my son was appalling. She was rude, ignorant and blatantly unhelpful. I would be absolutely appalled if any of my staff ever spoke to members of the public in the same manner as she did and I left the shop feeling extremely dissatisfied and probably will never make any purchases from Laura Ashley again. What should have been a pleasant trip out to buy furnishings turned into a trip that quite frankly made my blood boil.
