Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole Shikshan Sansthan under the auspices of which the college began in the year 2002. This institution began its pioneering quest for excellence in legal studies in Jaipur under the name of Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole–MJRP Women Law College, being first women Law College in India.
The director of the institution Mr. Nirmal Panwar, who named the college in memory of a Social reformer Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole, who worked for the emancipation of women, He was the profounder of women education, who worked day & night to bring social changes for alienated & deprived section of the society. Mr. Nirmal Panwar is working on the same principal and has done justice to name of Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole by imparting quality legal education to the student.

A library is the heart of an Educational Institution. Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole–MJRP Women Law College Library has not only been the heart of this Institution but a source of inspiration. The college has a well equipped library occupying First floor of the college building. The library hall is divided into two parts, a spacious library reading hall on one side and office cum stock room on the other side. The books are issued to the students on production of their library cards and the identity card as per the library rules. In addition, reference facility is also available throughout the day.
The Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole–MJRP Women Law College Library is presently having over 6,000 books, including Book Bank Section. The students are expected to read the legal periodicals on a day – to – day basis and also refer to books for participating in various extracurricular activities and also for academic improvement. It has over 500 bound volumes of periodicals (AIR, RLR) that are available for reference. Many Journals are also preserved for students. Books on General Knowledge, Encyclopedia, Competitive Examination Journals, RJS Exams books, text books are kept in Library for the use of all Law Students. The library will be open from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. for issue of books. In book-bank facility, students can keep books on loan from library during university examinations.
The library has a large hall with accommodation for 100 students with necessary infrastructure for its use as a reading room. The Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole–MJRP Women Law College subscribes 20 – 25 national dailies, local newspapers, weeklies and magazines. These are readily available for the use of the students. Newspapers are available at the separate newspaper stand; magazines and weeklies are available against production of their identity cards.
To bring out creative thinking of the students and to give an expression to their feeling in the field of writing, we publish “Jai Rashtra Mangal Times” fortnightly which is imbued with up to date news and various articles contributed by our students and members of staff. It is an ideal experience for those who have an interest and can add new dimensions in journalism. This open up new horizon for journalist & writers of tomorrow.
There is Shyam Lal Anandi Devi Memorial Charitable Trust Hostel. Which offer accommodation to 200 female students of Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole–MJRP Women Law College. For admission to the hostel, students need to apply separately. Admission to Law College does not guarantee accommodation in the hostel. The hostel accommodation & facilities are fair enough and in fact, very convenient for the student, as hostel is situated within the campus only. We provide you the space to grow and flourish into young ladies, ready to the challenge of world outside. The fleet buses to every corner of the city. The student from different college runs areas can avail this facility of transportation on payment.
The Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole–MJRP Women Law College has a cafeteria known as “Food Planet” within the campus where hygienic and Nutritious food is available for the students at reasonable prices.
An ATM (Any Time Money) Machines of Axis Banks is located within the campus and offers operations to the students and staff. There are 65 computers in college. The computer lab has state-of-art computers connected to the internet and equipped with MS –Office XP, Students have computers as a compulsory subject and practical training is provided in the specified hours only. Computer lab is open from 09.00 am to 5.00 pm. The lab is well equipped with the latest equipment.

Added advantage of this legal aid clinic is a deeper, easily accessible and quick remedy was available to the people living in the vicinity without having recourse to the costly and tiresome long procedure of delayed justice.
