Once they move into our hostels, they will feel very cozy and comfortable. Every room has excellent furniture which instills atmosphere for academic learning as well as ambiance for resting. We provide the students English dailies and magazines to keep themselves up to date with the current affairs. We also do a periodic review of food menu to satisfy students from different ethnic communities. The students of Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology – SSIET Coimbatore are provided with Wi-Fi connectivity at their hostels so they can get their information without moving anywhere. They are also welcome to browse the net in the computer labs after college hours. As our main library works till 9pm, the hostel students can use the facility as well. They can also engage themselves in sports activities as we have latest sports goods for all games & sports.
Classrooms facility of Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology – SSIET Coimbatore every class room in our campus is designed and built based on the principles of acoustics and ergonomics. A student seated at any part of the classroom can listen to the lecture clearly and accurately. The classrooms are with comfortable two seater desks/armchairs for the students to sit conveniently. The floor of the classrooms from the dais is gradually elevated so that the students can have eye contact with the professor on the Dias. Every classroom has LCD projectors. A student is also welcome to give power point presentations while taking seminars.
