Basaveshwara College of Commerce, Arts and Science – Bangalore is located in a spacious campus about 3 acres, in the heart of the city. A lush garden and well ventilated class rooms provide the serene atmosphere to promote learning. The College has large, airy class - rooms to conduct the classes. A good library is one of the foremost requirements of any educational institution. Basaveshwara College of Commerce, Arts and Science – Bangalore library is located in a huge, seperate building and has a collection of over 22,000 books. The college subcribes to about 36 magazines, periodicals and newspapers. The spacious reading room can accommodate a large number of students. In addition to this, additional books are made available to the students in the departmental library(particularly in commerce). The college has made arrangements for a book bank facility under which deserving students are lent a set of books for the period of a whole semester.
Basaveshwara College of Commerce, Arts and Science – Bangalore has the Basava Sbhangana in the main building of the Sangha. It is used for conducting cultural programmes and such other functions. It has a seating capacity of 250. In addition to this, the college also has a seminar hall with a seating capacity of about 400 for conducting various programme amd also arranging lectures and workshops. This year an AV room is also planned to conduct small group functions and to facilitate the use of modern technological equpiment to aid teaching. In the holistic growth and development of an individual, the importance of sports cannot be undermined. The sports department is headed by Sri. B. Kantharaju. The spacious sports ground in the Campus is condusive to the promotion of sports activities. It is a matter of pride that some our students represent the university, every academic year. A unit of the Bangalore University NSS is established in our college also. The committed volunteers engage themselves in socially productive usefulwork.
Basaveshwara College of Commerce, Arts and Science – Bangalore has an entire wing for the science faculty. It has well-equipped laboratories in Physics, Electronics & Computer Science with all the latest equipment. A health centre is located in the college building. It is equipped with all basic necessary equipments. A qualified doctor is appointed by the management and he visits the centre once a week. A general health check-up is conducted for all the students once a year. An extension counter of ING Vysa Bank functions from a building within our campus. This is beneficial to the staff and students for payment of fees, DD facilities etc. The college has the facility of a seperate ladies room. Girl students use this room for interaction with seniors, practice for cultural programmes, reading, relaxation, etc.
