A college of Home Science and two polytechnic institutes have been set up especially for girls. Allana Institute of Management Studies – AIAIMS Mumbai runs 3 orphanages – 2 for the girls and one for the boys. At the orphanages the girls are groomed with the best of education and when they are of marriageable age, Anjuman takes responsibility of finding suitable match for them. The entire expense for the girls at orphanage is borne by Anjuman. Sahara Unit of Anjuman looks after well being of distressed women (rehabilitation and health care). Significant and influential leaders such as Badruddin Tyabji, Mr. Barrister Akbar Peerbhoy, Mr. Moinuddin Harris, Mr. A. K. Hafizka, Barrister A. R.Antulay, have shaped this glorious Institute and at present its mantle is in the hands of Dr. Zahir Kazi.
