Kanya Mahavidyalay - Miraj is run by New Miraj Education Society. The new Miraj Education Society was formed by a group of visionary people from different business streams. Kanya Mahavidyalay - Miraj provides Diploma, Bachelor Degree and Master Degree to the college students. The college also offered other courses like Remedial Coaching Classes for SC,OBC and Minority students and Coaching Classes for entry in services to SC,OBC and Minority students.
Kanya Mahavidyalay - Miraj is located at Shivaji Nagar, Miraj, Maharashtra. Kanya Mahavidyalay - Miraj library has a well equipped airy, specious and partially computerized library and reading room. Library is a nucleus of teaching , learning and research process. Our college library has been playing a vital role in overall development of Kanya Mahavidyalay - Miraj since its inception. There are 46 Periodical subscribed for the library. Teachers and students are using these periodicals for their study and research. 13 Newspapers are purchased for the library. College has a well equipped Gymkhana, which provides facilities of various sports to students. College provides Sports Kits, Cross Country Shoes, Spikes (for every students participating- cross country and athletics.
National Cadet Corps: It came into existence in July 1948, and at Kanya Mahavidyalay - Miraj in the year 1986. Since then, it is an ingredient part of the college. It bestows military training, good character, ideal leadership, tolerance and sacrifice. It can enroll 50 students. Mrs.N.G.Pradnyasurya is NCC officer of this college. She has attended the Nav Sainik Camp at Vishkapattanam in 2007 and NIC Camp at HARIYANA 2008. This camp was related to the Republic Day.
Kanya Mahavidyalay - Miraj NSS unit is one of the best units in Shivaji University. It is unit of 100 Volunteers. NSS is gives an opportunity to youth to build their personality through community service. It promotes social consciousness sense of responsibility, discipline and dignity of labour. Different projects and annual camp are the special features of our unit. Blood donation camps assisting local authorities in relief during natural calamities are undertaken. Miss. Smita Balasaheb Patil Volunteer of NSS has attended RD Camp at Kota (Rajasthan).
