Mother College of Nursing – Visakhapatnam was established in the year 2003 at Dharmasagaram (V), Narsipatnam Mandal, Visakhapatnam Dist. Under the management of Mother Educational Society (Regd. No.879/97), Jagannadhapuram (V), Kotananduru Mandal, E.G. Dist. This college was recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. At the time of establishment of the College the sanctioned strength by Government of Andhra Pradesh is 40 students per year. Subsequently the intake is raised 650 students per annum by the Government and permission is also accorded by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. Good and experienced Faculty members are appointed on fulltime basis.
Mother College of Nursing – Visakhapatnam offers Bachelor of Science. Permanent well ventilated buildings as per the norms of the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada are constructed. Well ventilated and aerated individual rooms with full furniture attached with bathrooms, lavatories for staying of the students in the Hostel for accommodating 150 students are also constructed. Well furnished equipped in beautiful dining hall is also constructed for taking meals at a time for 150 students.
Mother College of Nursing – Visakhapatnam has well equipped laboratories within the college and our parent and affiliated hospitals offer wide practical experience to our students. We have well stocked & spacious Library. We have modern well maintained transport facility for transportation of the students.
Mother College of Nursing – Visakhapatnam Class Rooms are well arranged with well furnished beaches, Table and Chair. Every class room has its own LCD and over head projector for effective teaching. The computer lab has sufficient computers to help the students to have a basic understanding on use of computers and its application in Nursing. Wi-Fi internet service is available for 24 hours for all the students and faculties. The institute has separate well furnished hostels for students.
