Madha College of Nursing – Chennai has been founded by Soosaiya Peter education Trust. Soosaiya Peter education Trust was found by the philanthropist and a Business tycoon Dr. S. Peter on October 3, 1996 at Chennai. This is a registered Christian Minority Trust. It is approved by Indian Nursning Council.
Madha College of Nursing – Chennai offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing. The students of Madha College of Nursing are trained to provide comprehensive health care to different types of patients in different hospitals and to give holistic care to the people in the community keeping in mind the ethical and cultural values. The students also trained to become efficient managers , leaders , staff nurses, educators and researcher to work in India and other parts of the world.

The college owns a charity based free General Hospital to teach medicine and surgery for students as well as to cater the need of the people in and around Kunrathur.
