Ahsan Iqbal is a well known politician of Pakistan. He was born on September 28, 1958 in Lahore Pakistan. He received his education from UET Lahore and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Ahsan Iqbal was elected as the Minister for Education for Pakistan and served the country from 1 April 2009 – 11 September 2009. He was also the Member National Assembly of Pakistan from Narowal from 6 October 1993 – 12 October 1999, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission (Pakistan), Deputy Secretary General PML-N and Information Secretary, PML-N. Ahsan Iqbal was appointed Member National Assembly of Pakistan from Narowal for the second time on 18 February 2009. He is associated with Pakistan Muslim League (N) political party.
